Otter 272 was delivered to the to the United States Army on 2nd July 1958 with serial 57-6129 (tail number 76129). It initial unit allocation was to the 12th Aviation Company, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The Otter was deleted from the Army inventory in March 1960 as the result of a crash, details unfortunately unknown.
