• 59-2207 United States Army. Delivered 03-Nov-1959. Designated as U-1A.

Initially assigned to the US Army Aviation Detachment - Caribbean, stationed at Howard AFB., Panama, Canal Zone.

Unknown date.  352nd Aviation Company, based at Albrook AFB., Panama.

Apr-1968. Shipped to Sharpe Army Depot, Stockton, CA to be prepared for service in Vietnam.

Oct-968. Arrived in Vietnam with the 388th Transportation Company.

Nov. Joined 54th Aviation Company.

Returned to the 388th Transportation Company for storage, Vung Tau, Vietnam.

Jul-1971. Removed from Army inventory and scrapped.

Otter 344 was delivered to the United States Army on 3rd November 1959 with serial 59-2207 (tail number 92207). It was assigned to the US Army Aviation Detachment - Caribbean, stationed at Howard AFB., Panama, Canal Zone. This unit later became the 352nd Aviation Company, based at Albrook AFB., Panama. 92207 continued to serve the unit until April 1968, when it was flown to the Sharpe Army Depot, Stockton, California and was made ready for service in Vietnam. It arrived in Vietnam in October 1968 and was received by the 388th Transportation Company. The following month it joined the 54th Aviation Company, with whom it served until January 1971, as the Company was disbanding. It was placed in storage with the 388th Transportation Company at Vung Tau, the unit responsible for the disposal of all Army Otters in Vietnam, and remained in storage at Vung Tau until July 1971 when it was deleted from the inventory and scrapped.
